Ormside Mill Residential Centre ltd is a converted water mill set in the heart of the Eden Valley near Appleby, sandwiched between the North Pennines and the Lake District Fells.
A residential and activity centre Ormside Mill is a homely, self catering centre with 16 bed spaces. Holding a comprehensive Adventurous Activities license (AALA) Ormside Mill staff can offer a range of challenging outdoor activities including rock climbing, canoeing and gorge walking amongst others.
A registered charity Ormside Mill’s aim is to provide affordable residential and activity experiences for young people.
Ormside Mill is owned in collaboration by the Lancashire Association and Greater Manchester Federation of Clubs for Young People.
