Ormside Mill has a full range of facilities to cater for your group's needs. We have done our very best to make the centre as comfortable and homely as possible. If you require anything extra during your stay, let us know and we’ll do our best to help you.

Kitchen:  Fully equipped - 6-burner gas cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, pans, etc.

Dining Room:  Yes

Sitting Room:  Yes, with comfortable seating

TV:  No Music:  Stereo system with tape and CD

Heating:  Full central heating, plus a wood-burning stove

Bedrooms:  7 bedrooms - sleeping 1-4 people in single or bunk beds

Linen:  Linen provided. No towels.

Bathrooms:  Showers

Children's Facilities:  Board games and indoor play area

Outdoor Facilities:  Large grass paddock, BBQ facilities and a small orchard

Telecom Facilities:  Payphone, good mobile reception, free wireless Internet

Smoking:  No

Ormside Mill has a number of purpose-built facilities for disabled people:

• Separate disabled toilet in the barn

The nearest local services (shops, petrol, swimming pool) are in Appleby-in-Westmorland, which is just 3 miles away; or there is Penrith with far more facilities, which is 30 mins drive away.
